Save the Squee

Now that you've had your insides melted, use some take a few minutes to dissect the effectiveness of these ads designed to bring the the implications of the rapid extinction of species to the forefront once again.   I hadn't seen much from the World Wildlife Fund in quite awhile and I'm happy to see they are playing up our biases towards responding to warm and fuzzy mammals.

Special credit to to the shark focused campaign as we all know it's easy to be moved by the squee, but predators and less exciting or remarkable creatures like tuna are crucial to maintaining ecosystems.   BUND also succeeds in striking a nerve  (second below) as they humanise the face of a seal running out of time.

Would any of these move you to find $30 a month in your budget to continue their work?
